We're now almost a week post UKBFF British Finals and I've seen a few posts from different people about how they are going about the post show process.
One thing I think it's really important to understand is that one size does not fit all. Just because you've seen someone else post and rave about how they are following a certain approach and it's working for them, doesn't mean that you should too.
There's more than one way to skin a cat, and as an example one competitor might find a strict reverse diet works really well for them, whereas another might find that a strict reverse leaves them with disordered eating patterns and rapid weight gain (due to feeling restricted and not being able to stick to the plan).
It might take a few attempts to find a method that works for you, but it's important to know that you are not alone whatever you are going through. The post show process can be a difficult one for many, often harder than 'prep' itself for more reasons than one...but find a method that suits YOU and the process can be an enjoyable one. Focus on the positives of where you are currently at right now (health, increases in energy and strength, more flexibility with food, a bit of an ass) rather than always thinking of what you haven't got any longer (abs, striations...)
